Experience demonstrated the following:
- Because Thinking Tools are inborn, it enables the earner to 'stop-think-do'. This facilitates the brain's natural thinking processes which allows the learner to re-think, regroup, and re-evaluate in line with the learner's pace of thinking. This enables them to keep them on track with their progress and achievements,
- Because the Thinking Tools approach enables ADHD learners to attend to small chunks of information at a time, there is no burden on the short-term memory which is already under stress.
- Because they construct and visually present their newly gained insights in picture format, it is stored in the long-term memory and can easily be retrieved when needed.
