What will you benefit as a teacher?

- When Thinking Tools teachers empower their learners to manage their thinking, learners are enabled to repackage information in ways that facilitate the development of new neural pathways in the brain,
- Once neural pathways are established the related information and supportive patterns are cemented into the long-term memory which can be retrieved without tedious revision and memorization.
- This results in improved marks supported by developing social skills and improved Emotional Intelligence.
- This again results in improved classroom management and discipline.
What is included?
This is an interactive online course that you can complete at your own pace. By interactive, we mean that you will be involved in course discussions and will learn and do tasks together.
All course material is immediately available online for download.

The course is registered with SACE, and if you are a teacher, you will earn 20 CPTD points. You will also receive a Thinking Tools CERTIFICATE indicating your new competencies, which you can also include on your CV.
What is the cost?
The cost of the course is R700 until 26 October 2024, thereafter R800
After 26 October the cost for the full course is R800, which you can pay with a credit or debit card or arrange with Cas for an EFT
If more teachers enroll simultaneously, the price will be negotiated.
You can also pay for the course in two installments of R400 each with your credit or debit card.
Alternatively, you can pay for the course in four installments of R200 each with your credit or debit card.
How do I enroll?
Immediately after registering, you will be able to join a lesson planning and support WhatsApp group.
There are WhatsApp groups for
- Primary school maths teachers
- Primary school teachers all subjects excluding maths
- High school pure maths teachers
- High school maths literacy teachers
- High school teachers all subjects excluding maths
The purpose of the WhatsApp groups is to discuss new ideas and receive additional free support.
