Furthermore, our learners are successful because we realized long ago that our role as teachers must evolve into that of a curator (derived from the Latin word meaning 'to care').
Thinking Tools curators are curriculum experts trained to harness children’s research abilities in purposeful ways. This is how we work with your child through each syllabus theme.
How do we do it? We guide and facilitate your child’s thinking processes using scientific methods to develop their critical and creative thinking. This enables your child to discover schoolwork knowledge independently.
We also empower your child with ‘figure-out’ skills in math and all other subjects. This is one of the main reasons your child’s grades improve.
- Looking at schools’ results in general there are challenges that cannot be addressed by the exact same system that caused the challenges (Albert Einstein).
- The challenges were created by the extreme focus on assessment and overloading teachers adminstrative tasks.. Even if it were to change today, it would take decades to catch up.
- Meanwhile, your child's achievements stays the main priority.
- Over and above empowering your child to master all the so called learning subjects, we have a unique figure out approach to maths.
- Thinking Tools complements the shortcomings of schools with a creative paradigm shifting approach that builds children’s self-esteem as they progress step-by-step and improve their grades.
What are included
- After enrolled on the Marvelous Minds learning platform follow the steps as prescribed.
- You will have access to the course material that must be printed.
- You will have access to the WhatsApp ask/show/support group.
- Then start with Session 1 of the course. This is where you will learn how to learn the Thinking Tools way.
- After completion of Session 1 and provided feedback, you will have full access to all the pre-recorded maths classes.
- You may attend the live maths classes with Zoom after enrollment. Learners are allowed to only observe without participating in die discussions.
It is recommended that primary school parents sit with their children throughout the whole 3 x 3-hour pre-recorded sessions. It is recommended that high school parents MUST at least join in with the first session understand the paradigm shift.

The course consists of 3 x 3-hour sessions. The purpose of session 1 is to introduce you child to Thinking Tools to the extent that your child will be able to start applying the first sets of Thinking Tools when learning new chapters or themes according to your specific curriculum.
During the sessions they put their noses to the grindstone and tackle all their subjects including languages. They learn how to write an essay to 80%+ and successfully completing a comprehension test the Thinking Tools way. The last session is spent on maths which is the beginning of a journey of mathematical thinking.

You can attend the live Zoom extra classes immediately. If you only want to observe and not be part of the discussion that is also permittable.
1 x one-hour maths extra class on a weekly basis live with Zoom. All extra classes are recorded an availed on the course platform where each enrolled learner can attend to it at own time and pace.
The timeslot or the maths extra classes is Thursday evenings 20:00 to 21:00

All learners and parents are on a WhatsApp group where questions can be asked, and work shared for comments.
Thinking Tools is applicable to CAPS, Cambridge and any other curriculum.
What is the cost?
This investment in your Child's future is only R165 per month with no additional costs. The fee stays the same until grade 12

Invitation to develop a grade 10 Thinking Tools course
This is an invitation to learners and students in South Africa and other counties who want to liberate themselves for mimicking and memorising as method of study and want to become a learner who can discover and create knowledge, gain insight and solve problems.
All subjects are covered including languages where your child will learn how to write an essay to 80+% and complete a comprehension test with understanding and insight.
Learners who contribute to the development of these courses qualify for free maths extra classes with Zoom.
I need 6 COMMITTED learners and their parents per group.
Gather a group of six learners and WhatsApp Cas Olivier to start as soon as possible.
